Review: Stamping plates from Born Pretty Store

I have two stamping plates from Born Pretty Store to share my thoughts on today! There are also two new nail designs and a video tutorial for one of them, so do check out the full post for all of the details.

Press sample: These stamping plates were sent to me by Born Pretty Store for my honest review.
The plates are called 春の歌 (Haru no Uta), numbers L006 and L007, and they measure roughly 12 x 6 cm. Although they are so competitively priced, they are of great quality. Each plate comes in its own cardboard sleeve, and has a sturdy plastic backing. There are lots of patterns to choose from, and all of the images are well-etched. I had no problems picking them up with both my regular and clear stampers. In short, I definitely recommend them!

Using the lace/ornate plate (L006, product ID 30337), I reverse-stamped the pattern on the bottom-left. Here's the video tutorial.

The polishes I used are Cirque Colors 'Don't Forget the Cannoli' (ivory-white), Painted Polish by Lexi 'Midnight Mischief' (black stamping polish), and Colour Alike 'Golden Queen' (gold). As usual everything is topped with my favourite quick-dry top coat, Glisten & Glow 'HK Girl'.

If you're not a fan of watermarbling then the L005 plate (product ID 30336) is for you! It has lots of watermarble patterns, and also some cool illusion-style ones. I did some gradient stamping using Cirque Colors 'Cin Cin' as my shiny gold base, and Colour Alike stamping polishes 'Twilight' (metallic black) and 'Rudolph' (metallic red).
